Gaye is a prolific poster and I doubt if I shall be able to offer as much reading material, although I try.

Frogs are great aren't they. I have three Neobatrachus spp. living around me and although they have distinct calls their appearance seem to grade one into another, making a photographic blog about them very difficult. I hope to do a little research (hopefully) this coming wet season, so might get something up on them by next spring.

Good to hear from you.
All the best
Jack.WAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09714877215893612150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35150906.post-79673461896749719232008-03-13T06:04:00.000+09:002008-03-13T06:04:00.000+09:00Hello Jack.I found your Blog via Gaye (hvbackyard)...Hello Jack.

I found your Blog via Gaye (hvbackyard).

I am also interested in frog conservation and preservation. L. dumerili is well represented in my area of Victoria.

I have a frog-friendly garden and must be careful working the soil! There a reasonable population of the Common Spadefoot Toad (Neobatrachus sudelli) here.

We have been in drought for over ten years and this has been pretty devastating to local frog populations. Many frogs went beserk this year after my house dam received some useful runoff for the first time in 4 years.

I've saved the link and will check your blog regularly.Junior Lepidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07934608116254869924noreply@blogger.com
